Additonal thoughts on the Now What post
I chatted with my good good friend Alain late yesterday and after I told him about my mother's passing he just happened to have this poem at hand.
Promissory Note

The poem has been put with the papers for my son...
...during the last few days at lunchtime, I found myself reading the obituaries, checking for people close to my age...
...I didn't grief when my mother died 2 years ago, actually, I was glad for her (she suffered). I look at death as a final victory over all the wrong decisions one might have made...
