Amen, Jim. Amen

Please tell your daughter, if you get the chance, that the phoenix would never be able to experience rebirth if there were no fire or ashes to be reborn from.

I love you daddy

You are my nightlight

love forever above any other stupid man

The pains you refer to are called "phantom pains." Apparently, the pain is very real to the amputee. I've got an 18-year-old daughter just chomping at the bit to get out on her own. She plans to do so right after graduation. I'll feel that pain for sure then.

What can I say? I know that pain only too well. We try to help all we can, and in the end, they know who to come to when they need help the most. I guess that is the most important thing.

I am sending blessings and prayers of strength your way.
