Well, I wasn't nearly as tricky...

...as I thought. I had 4 responses to "Where is it?" and all 4 got it right. Two responded here and two on the other site fir The Fredericksblog. Im going to have to be sneakier on the next one.

This one was indeed the old bank building on the corner of William Street and Princess Anne where the museum expansion is proceeding along at glacial speed. For some reason I am fascinated by theses ornate decorative elements high on the Princess Anne Street side, right above the huge pit in what was the sidewalk where dragons now dwell. Wonder how they are going to fill that chasm?

Wading, at my own peril, into...

...the local political contests I have sent the following question to Mayor Tomzak and Councilwoman Girvan:

What do you plan or propose to do regarding the extremely loud noise downtown from motor vehicles, both from motorcycles and autos with boom box stereos?

Looking forward to your response.

I will post their responses when received and will advise you all if no response is received.

Where is it?

Herewith a new feature for The Fredericksblog. Can you identify what this is a picture of and where it is. Send your answer via a blog comment. The first one to guess it correctly should get a prize but probably won't since this blog has yet to earn it's first nickel. Maybe a gift certificate to some store downtown if I can talk anyone into donating something. Anyway, here's the first of what I hope will be a series feature here: .
